About Catherine Designated a “Rising Star” by Love Romances
I have always loved to write, ever since I was a child.
Some days, when I’m picking my daughter’s stuffed animals and cutesy stationery up off the living room |

After completing a B.A., Double Major (First Class), in English and History from the University of Victoria, B.C., I was accepted into the prestigious, post-graduate Works of Art Course run by Sotheby’s auctioneers in London, England, where I studied centuries of history, antiques and fine art. I worked in Canada for several years as an antique and fine art appraiser, which inspired some unique ideas for novels.
Prior to my first publishing contract, my manuscripts finaled in thirty contests, including Georgia Romance Writers’ 2003 and 2004 Unpublished Maggie Awards.
I live in Florida with my Knight-in-Shining-Armor husband, daughter, and two very spoiled, overweight cats who believe they run the house!
If you’d like to know more about me and my first sale to Medallion Press, please see my Q & A page and my interviews with Once Upon A Romance, The Mystic Castle and Love Romances. |

in Port Alberni, B.C., Canada. Lovingly tucked away in my filing cabinet, these literary “masterpieces” will likely never be published, but I vividly remember the sheer exhilaration of putting pen to paper and letting my imagination soar. |
